Am I the only one who strongly dislikes Ophelia? The girl is a spineless wimp! Sure, she deserves to pitied. Hamlet acts like such a jerk to her after all, but that’s only because he feels like she betrayed him. She does, unwittingly. But she should have had enough brain cells to ask Hamlet whether he was seriously insane or not instead of taking her father’s words as the Gospel truth. Sorry, Ophelia, but you’re an idiot, and we all know what happens to idiots in a Shakespearean tragedy.
